And I also chat, and when I click on the pop-out button I get the window out and the window title is "https://mail.google.com/mail - My friends name". It doesn't matter if you enter https://mail.google.com or http://mail.google.com.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;But after being logged in, you will by default _not_ use a secure connection. That's the part that CustomizeGoogle solves.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;And, as stated by Google, chat won't work with https.
